About the Wyoming CDL test

WYDOT states that all CDL written tests are multiple choice and that the passing score for a written test is 80 percent, that a commercial learner permit is valid for 365 days and must be held at least 14 days before skills testing, and that a person under 18 cannot be issued a Wyoming CDL. WYDOT does not publish the number of items in the general knowledge test, so the 50 questions shown here follow the common federal standard and are listed as unconfirmed; the 80 percent pass mark is confirmed and is what determines the 40 correct answers.
