About the Wyoming permit test

W.S. 31-7-114 requires applicants to be examined. WYDOT publishes that the automated test covers sign and marking identification plus multiple-choice questions on traffic laws, that the same written test may be taken only twice in one day, that an applicant who fails must wait 24 hours before testing again, and that an applicant who misses 13 or more questions must wait three days to retest. WYDOT does not publish the item count or the pass mark for the non-commercial test, so the 25 questions and 20 correct answers shown here follow the 80 percent standard WYDOT applies to commercial written tests and are listed as unconfirmed.
